Reusable and Washable Face mask filter insert, designed to add 2 extra layers of filtration to your face mask. Easily insert into our face mask filter pockets, which may improve your mask filtration ability.

Filters can be sanitized after removing from mask and placing filter in a heat proof container and pouring boiling water over the top, to fully immerse for 1 minute. Let air dry.

If desired, filters can be hand washed with warm water and a small amount soap. Do not ring out and squeeze filter, let air dry.

Although our filters are washable and reusable, we do recommend replacing your mask filter after 10-15 uses for best results.

Premium Face Masks vs Regular Face Masks

Premium face masks are more involved to sew and have trim around the face mask itself, which allows the face mask to be more firm, adding "stiffness" and hold its shape better. The nose wire is hidden into the decorative trim on premium face masks (visible stitching on the regular face masks). The premium face masks also have an extra layer in the chin covering, 3 layers vs 2 layers.

How do I adjust the elastic on your face masks?

All face masks come with 1/8" elastic “loosely” tied. Un-tie, adjust to custom fit, and re-tie the elastic. Slide elastic knots to hide under the face mask seem. I use 1/8" elastic for comfort and do not sew the elastic into the mask, this way you can easily change it out if needed, or replace with ties, ribbon, etc.

What if I like a mask fabric but its only children, women, or under men?

If you like a fabric that is only listed under a specific category, please send me a message to make it for you. All fabrics are available in adult and kids sizes, even though I may only list them in specific categories.

Washing Your Mask

We recommend washing face masks by hand or in a laundry mesh bag on gentle cycle. Air dry or tumble dry on low setting. Do not iron masks, as high heat will melt the sewn-in polypropylene lining, as well as edging on premium masks.
